Meet Idaly!

Idaly is the sweetest 11-year-old!  She reminded me of myself at her age! I even played the violin when I was 11! And can we sit back for a moment and just admire her hair!  It's absolutely to die for!

How old were you when you were diagnosed with T1D? 9

What is your favorite subject in school?  Orchestra

How did you feel when you were diagnosed?  I felt scared and upset because I was diagnosed with something that can’t be cured

What do you like to do for fun?  Play Video games

How did you find out that you were diabetic?  at a doctors appointment

Do you like being diabetic?  I mean it’s not hard but sometimes I don’t want to have it anymore

What is cool about being diabetic?  Everybody thinks you’re brave for taking shots like every 3-4 hours

What is the worst thing about being diabetic?  That you half to manage you’re sugars

What is your favorite food?  Buffalo Wing Pizza

What is your favorite movie?  Oceans 8

Where is your favorite restaurant?  Olive Garden

Where is your favorite place to vacation?  Orlando Florida

If you could have 3 wishes granted, what would they be?  1.To cure cancer
2.To cure diabetes  3.To have infantile money to buy my mom and dad a nice house and i can pay the bills for them

Who is your favorite tv/book/story character and what do you like about him/her?  If video games count then D.va because she is a girl gamer and she loves her friends and family and her country
If not then Parker from Parker Plays (TV show) because he’s halarious and likes to play videogames

If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be? Kitty Cat

If you could wake up with a superpower, what would it be?  Super speed

What would you like others to know about being a diabetic?   It’s not that scary and don’t be afraid that well contaminate you.Becaude we promise we won’t lol 🤣
