Ian was so excited to share his story!  He is such a great kid!  I am so thrilled you get to see how amazing Ian is!

How old are you?   Almost 9

How old were you when you were diagnosed with T1D?  11/02/2017

What is your favorite subject in school?  Math, Reading, Social Studies

How did you feel when you were diagnosed?  I was scared, sad,  surprised about my shockers

What do you like to do for fun?  Play football, baseball and soccer

How did you find out that you were diabetic?  I started to fill shaking, I was thirsty a lot

Do you like being diabetic?   Yes because I started to eat healthy, no bad carbs lol

What is cool about being diabetic?  I can show to my friends what I have to do when I pinch my fingers

What is the worst thing about being diabetic?  The hypoglycemias, and know I can't eat candies

What is your favorite food?  Tamales, Camarones, enchiladas, carne asada

What is your favorite movie?  Big hero 6

Where is your favorite restaurant?  Taco tote

Where is your favorite place to vacation?  Las Vegas, Disney, the beach!!

If you could have 3 wishes granted, what would they be?  Pray for everyone do not have diabetes,  do not have diabetes, find something to help other kids with diabetes

Who is your favorite tv/book/story character and what do you like about him/her?  WONDER

If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be?  My dogs Archie and Maxi and Rocco (rip)

If you could wake up with a superpower, what would it be?  Has the power to take away diabetes around the world

What would you like others to know about being a diabetic?  For them do not be scared!! Everything it's gonna be ok!!
